Trigger Point Dry Needling in Cumming, GA

The Best Dry Needling Physical Therapy Service in Cumming, GA

We offer Trigger Point Dry Needling as part of our manual therapy techniques. This treatment uses fine needles to target trigger points—tight, sensitive areas in muscles and fascia that cause pain and inflammation. By precisely inserting needles into these spots, we help release tension, reduce pain, and improve muscle function quickly.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry Needling is not acupuncture. This technique is performed by licensed medical professionals, including physical therapists, to relieve pain and restore function. Thin needles are inserted into the skin to stimulate healing in the underlying muscles and nerves.

How is Dry Needling Performed?

We use thin, dry needles in this therapy—not for injections or medication, but for targeted treatment. The needles are so fine that most patients feel little to no discomfort during insertion. Before starting, we thoroughly assess your condition to determine the best approach. You may experience mild soreness or bruising afterward, but many patients notice greater relaxation and increased energy as a result.

Hayden is a graduate of the University of North Georgia’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He earned his undergraduate degree in Health Science from Stetson University, where he was a three-time Pioneer Football League Academic All-American and a member of the university’s football team.

After his playing career, Hayden became a championship-level strength and conditioning coach. He served as the head strength and conditioning coach for Stetson’s women’s tennis and rowing teams, as well as an assistant coach for the football and baseball programs. He played a key role in the women’s tennis team’s 2022 ASUN Championship run, providing coaching and performance support throughout the season.

He also has a background in powerlifting and holds multiple state records. Outside the clinic, Hayden enjoys trail running, long-distance running, and playing pickleball. He believes that everyone is an athlete—just at different points on the spectrum—and deserves to be treated with the same level of care, performance mindset, and respect.
